These homemade peanut butter eggs are way better than the store bought Reese’s Eggs. Not only are they tastier, they are EASY to make! Makes enough to share with family and friends (or to hoard them for yourself, ha ha, just joking… well… sort of!) 🤣🤣🤣

Our family friend, Jonece, made these eggs for us and was kind enough to give me the recipe (thank you, Jonece!). I have been making them ever since.
Better than Reese’s Homemade Peanut Butter Eggs Ingredients:
- 24 ounces of creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 Stick of butter (4 Tablespoons)
- 8 ounces of Cream Cheese
- Splash of vanilla extract
- 24 ounces of Confectioners Sugar (10X sugar)
- Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate Melting Wafers (or semi sweet, whatever you prefer) 2 packages are preferred, I only had one package and sort of ran out
Instructions:
Using a hand mixer, mix together peanut butter, softened cream cheese, softened butter, vanilla extract, and confectioners sugar until well blended.
Shape peanut butter mixture into eggs and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Once all the dough is formed into eggs, chill in the refrigerator or freezer until cold enough to dip into the melted chocolate.
Melt your chocolate wafers in either a double boiler or the slowly melt in the microwave in 30 second increments until melted. Get your chilled eggs out and coat each one into the melted chocolate and place on parchment or a rack until the chocolate firms up. Store eggs in the refrigerator in an airtight container. Enjoy! These are so yummy and such a great treat!
