Quickly brew up a deliciously rich and robust espresso in no time using a stovetop Moka Pot. I purchased the Moka Pot for $14.99 at the Grocery Outlet Bargain Market. It brews a delicious cup of espresso to use in any of your favorite espresso drinks.
It’s so easy to use. Simply fill the bottom of the Moka Pot with water, but don’t fill the water beyond the little valve on the front of the pot.
Next, fit the filter on top of the water pot and fill the filter with loosely packed, ground espresso. Then, screw the lid onto the pot.
Place the pot on your burner and slowly heat up on low to medium heat. Once the Moka Pot starts to percolate, remove the Moka Pot from the heat. The espresso is ready to serve when the Moka Pot stops percolating.
I made a latte with my espresso, using some Starbucks syrup and some frothed milk. My husband likes the espresso straight up. I hope you give this one a try, it delivers some great tasting espresso!
Also, one thing to note, do not use dish soap when cleaning your Moka Pot.
Let me know if you use a Moka Pot and if so, what is your most favorite brand of strong espresso? Let me know in the comments.
