This Happy Spring Bunny Wreath has a cute farmhouse style, does not cost much to make (Dollar Tree, Target Dollar Spot, and Hobby Lobby sale items), and is a quick and easy craft! My 8 year old son helped me make it and it turned out very cute.
Materials:
- A bunny shaped wire frame wreath from The Dollar Tree
- 4 or more White Nautical Rope from The Dollar Tree (I used 4 nautical ropes),
- 2.5” Width Ribbon of your choice for a bow. I used The Robert Stanley Collection Black and White Buffalo Check farmhouse part of a 30 ft. Ribbon roll from Hobby Lobby.
- Lace ribbon from the Dollar Tree for the top of the carrot.
- Zip Ties from The Dollar Tree, or floral wire.
- Greenery of your choice, secured with a zip tie to the back of the wreath frame.
- Faux carrot, or faux flowers, or any other adornments, such as a cute sign, whatever you choose to accent the wreath.
- Scissors
I used a dollar tree bunny shaped wire wreath form to create a cute, festive Spring wreath. I wrapped the wire frame with white nautical rope. I used zip ties to secure the rope to the wire frame. Wrap the frame with the rope tightly. When you get to the end of each nautical rope, secure on the backside of the wreath with zip ties. Then, start with a new piece of nautical rope, securing with another zip tie on the back of the wire frame.
I did the same with the bunny ears, securing at the bottom of each ear and wrapping the ear with the white nautical rope, then securing again at the other side on the bottom of each bunny ear.
Next, secure the greenery with zip ties to the back of the wreath, pull the greenery through the bunny ears. Secure a bow of your choice to the wreath, I used zip ties to secure, but floral wire works great too. Also secure other decorations, such as the faux carrot with a lace bow, and any other florals or adornments you choose to use.
